Employment and Entrepreneurial Task Force
What
The Employment and Entrepreneurial Task Force is concerned with the development of a strong educational, vocational skills, and economic base within Passaic County through multi-sector workforce development partnerships. The task force seeks to support initiatives and programs designed to enhance the skills, abilities, and employability of the local workforce and address the local service area needs as identified by the strategic plan of the local Workforce Development Board. Led by the Passaic County Community College, this task force holds significant importance as it encapsulates the County’s economic growth, employment opportunities, and social mobility.
Why
By investing in workforce development, Passaic County can build a sustainable and prosperous future for its community. Collectively addressing the need for employment and vocational skills will lead to increased employment opportunities and outcomes for individuals/families. To gain financial security for the residents, the task force partners assist with job search and support for gaining meaningful employment.
How
The Employment and Entrepreneurial Task Force works to ensure that Passaic County residents have the resources to enhance their skills, knowledge, and abilities needed to succeed in their roles and contribute effectively to their organizations. The task force aims to foster a culture that values continuous learning and professional development, utilization of technology, and supports diversity, equity, and inclusion.
